A superior quality rosewood Library or writing table with inset leather top above a plain apron fitted with two drawers to one side and opposing dummy drawers, standing on turned and reeded legs with very well carved detailing and with original chased and gilded castor caps and wheels.
The extraordinary attention to detail and fine construction of this piece strongly suggest the attribution to Gillows.
